New Trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Released
We first heard about third-person shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands at last year’s E3, where it promised to deliver a huge open-world that you would move through with your four-man special-ops team, completing missions and taking on the Bolivian cartel.
The biggest selling point of the game is that you can carry out the missions in any order and in any way, and the order and methods you choose affect how the cartel and the Bolivian authorities will react. If you complete your objectives without making a sound or firing a shot then the cartel won’t know you’re coming but if you go in loud and proud then you may well find them better prepared on future sorties. That said there is no one correct way to play Wildlands which is what makes it so intriguing. It should also give it an excellent replay-able factor.
The new trailer teaches us little that we didn’t already know but the game does look pretty beautiful and very spectacular. Ubisoft promise that they will tell us more about the game at this year’s E3 and hopefully we’ll get to see some gameplay footage. As far as release dates go, it’s listed on Steam as December 31st 2016, but let’s assume for now that’s just a placeholder. You can preorder the game if you so wish and by doing so you’ll get access to a bonus mission, “Peruvian Connection”.
