X2: The Threat

Description

X2: The Threat is a space trading and combat simulator.

In the game you are free to fly around a large fictional universe, trading and fighting. There is a clear background storyline, however, involving a hostile alien race known at the Khaak but completing the storyline is expensive, so you’ll need to trade to build up your resources.

There are over 130 sectors within the universe, giving you plenty to explore. Each sector is linked by a jumpgate, which allows you to travel between sectors. Each sector demands and produces different wares that you can trade. The game has a dynamic market, meaning prices very according to supply and demand.
