Fallout 4 is Out in November
Fallout 4 will be released on 10 November, Bethesda have announced.
In their presentation at E3, they also showed of gameplay footage from the next instalment in the brilliant post-apocalyptic series. We’ve included the videos below.
We’ve discovered that Fallout 4 will be a more personal experience – we’ll be able to customise our character’s looks to make them resemble us and we can even buy a physical version of Pip-boy (the retro computer that our hero wears on their arm) that will work by inserting our phone into it, offering an immersive second screen experience (or clumsy gimmick depending on your attitude towards it).
To make it even more personal you’ll be able to construct your own bases, with defences including automatic turrets to deter would-be intruders. You’ll also be able to customise your weapons.
A few questions about what we saw in the announcement trailer have been addressed – we’ll be able to give commands to our faithful companion, Dogmeat, and Fallout 4 will begin before the apocalypse.
All very exciting. Only five more months until we get our hands on it.
