Civilization VI has been Released
Civilization VI has been released for PC.
The sixth instalment in the popular strategy game is now available to buy and play.
As with any good sequel, it has built on the core concepts of Civilization V while adding some interesting changes. These include introducing districts to your cities and adding a ‘Civics tree’, similar to the ‘Tech tree’, which allows you to pick new cultural policies.
The game also changes how the AI works, with the aim to make the leaders both more unpredictable and more historically accurate in the ways they behave.
Civilization VI has received all positive reviews and currently holds a score of 94/100 on Metacritic.
The game is set to be released for Mac in the near future. Aspyr, the studio dealing with porting the game, have revealed in a tweet that it will be released ‘in a matter of DAYS rather than a matter of weeks’.
