Alpha 36 Marks Final Prison Architect Release

It’s an announcement that produces mixed feelings from us: the final alpha release of Prison Architect. We’ve loved the monthly updates introducing a ton of great new features to the game, but we are looking forward to the final release, which we know is coming in October.

But let’s look at what features have been added in Alpha 36. The main addition is the introduction of the random events engine. This will occasionally throw up a random situation like a fire or a virus which will mean you need to design your prison accordingly to cope with the potential perils.

Like the gangs mechanic that was introduced over the last two months, you can choose whether or not you want the random events engine switched on for your game, depending on how difficult you want to make it for yourself.
