Allison Road is Now on Kickstarer

Survival horror game Allison Road – which was Steam Greenlit in June – is now on Kickstarter.

The game is being developed by Lilith – a small, new British start up staffed by experienced developers. The developers speak of being influenced by classic horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill 2.

Lilith are looking for £250,000 to fund Allison Road and are already up to £90,000 in just two days, but the developers say the game will be made regardless of whether it meets its funding target.

The game is set in a house (and possibly its surroundings) on a street in Manchester, UK. You awake with no recollection of what’s happened and no idea where your family are. Also, as night falls, you get the feeling there might be something out there in the darkness. Excitingly (and terrifyingly), the game should offer full VR support, meaning it will be one of the first truly immersive horror games out there.

Allison Road is slated for release on PC in late 2016, with versions for Mac, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One following soon after. However, the release of everything might move forward depending on how much money they raise.
