Females are Coming to Rust
Ever thought that Rust was too much of a sausage fest? Well good news: here come the girls.
Ahead of releasing female models to everyone (or at least half of everyone), the developers have made all the admins female for testing purposes.
When they eventually role out females they will be randomly assigned to players’ Steam IDs meaning you won’t be able to change them unless you create a new account. The attitude of the developers, Facepunch Studios, is that you can’t choose how you look in real life so you shouldn’t be able to in game. This mantra already applies to your face, your race and the size of your sausage.
There has also been a lot of progress on other aspects of the game including the additions of new armour – you can now strap bits of wood to your body! The full changelog can be read here.
