Fallout 4 DLC Revealed

The makers of Fallout 4, Bethesda have revealed the first three pieces of downloadable content that they will be releasing in the coming months.

Firstly in March we will be able to get the Automatron expansion, which will add loads of robots to the game. Robots will be released into the wasteland and you’ll be able to hunt them down. Better still you can harvest the parts from the robots you vanquish and use them to build your own robot companion.

Then in April comes Wasteland Workshop, which gives you loads of new options for you settlements and also allows you to capture the horiffic creatures that populate the world. Once captured you can tame them or get them to fight other beasts. Fancy seeing a deathclaw fight a radscorpion – you got it.

The biggest DLC of all comes in May, and is entitled Far Harbour. It will add a huge new section to the wasteland – “the largest landmass for an add-on” that Bethesda have ever created. Involving new faction quests and a mysterious island off the coast of Maine where the radiation is even stronger.

Additionally, Bethesda say that the survival mode will get a “complete overhaul … Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more” – so expect to see changes even if you don’t buy any of the DLC’s.

Before 1st March you can buy a season pass, which will get you all 3 plus all future DLC’s for Fallout 4, for just £24.99. this will jump to £39.99 on March 1st. Individually, Automatron will cost £7.99, Wasteland Workshop £3.99 and Far Harbour £19.99.

If you can’t wait until the DLC’s are released you can sign up for the closed betas at bethesda.net and you can read the full release from Bethesda here.
