The Elder Scrolls Online will be Subscription-Free in March

As we predicted a couple of weeks ago, developers Bethesda have announced The Elder Scrolls Online will be subscription-free in March. This rumour has been kicking around for a while since Bethesda stopped people from taking out six-month subscriptions in December and retailer EB Games removed The Elder Scrolls Online from their shelves.

It won’t be completely free-to-play as you’ll still need to purchase the game, but once you do you can play it for eternity. If you already own The Elder Scrolls Online then you don’t need to do anything as you’ll be upgraded automatically and for free.
